Where would I find the paint code for my Punto?

I've been told its on the VIN plate, but there is nothing to distinguish it from any other info on the plate.

What should it look like?

I need this kinda urgently as well...I've got a spoiler to get painted!

i got mine from a sticker in the boot (seicento tho) i believe they are normally 3 digits long possibly with a letter after it

ie 199/A is tizano red

have a look on inside of drivers side door pilliar, it was there on my uno

Nah, its not on the door pillar...only a sticker about registering the car with Fiat if I am a new owner.

I'll need to have a look in the boot.

So I take it its a sticker I am looking for?

Yup, silver sticker, on the part of the boot that opens.

I cofirm, a silver sticker in the inner side of the door of the boot...

i concur. sticker in boot. think mine was 419 (team blue)

It was on the inside of the boot door.

Paint code 517/A which will hopefully be metallic silver!

Arancio Orla VR. was also on the sticker with regard to colour. I reckon the code itself will be ok though!
