Still not working, but I'm guessing you need an ECU reset. Potentially also need to try and read the codes to see if there's anything obvious going on.

Finally... how sure are you that the cam timing isn't a tooth out?

Surging at idle?

I had that when I first fitted my new throttle body - it settled after going for a drive.

Did you time the cam with an offset dowel?
