Technical P2296 code

I have the Fiat 500 mjet 1,3 2008 model and give me check engine with code p2296. Any help to check anything before replacing the fuel pressure regulator please?

P codes where the first digit after the p is not 0 are manufacturer allocated so unless using a specific FIAT code reader you cannot rely on the readers interpretation of the p code.

If that code reader is giving correct code for your vehicle visually check the wiring before replacing component

I think I try first this in follow link ( ) and if not give me error I remove the valve and check it with 12v battery ( )
