Technical P0641 $f110 fault

P0641 $f110 fault after gear cable snapped and car driven for repair in second gear. I don’t think the issue is driving it in 2nd gear, I’m more inclined to think it might be neutral sensor or something similar? cables replaced but engine light on with limp mode. any suggestions appreciated thanks.
