My engine management light came on a few weeks ago, so i invested in a fault code reader. After reading the codes i got p0135 02 sensor heater malfunction. After googling it i think it means the lambda sensor but i want to confirm this before i order one. any help?

If it is wheres the cheapest place to buy one, what should i expect to say. I seen a brand new bosch one on ebay for £20. and also how do i go about changing it, where abouts is it on the car?

Thanks

Lambda sensors are located on the exhaust sytem, i think punto's have 2 tho, one just before cat and one just afteron the downpipe.

To replace it you just use a spanner or a special lambda sensor socket (like a deep socket with a slot missing for the wire to pass through) to unscrew it from the exhaust system and unclip the wiring connector.

Then screw in new one and connect wiring connector it just push in connector

Simple to replace mate(y)
