Depends -how- hot your amps gettin... my legacy amp gets warm normally and occasionally gets abit hot.

Just make sure that your amps got room around it for air to circulate, and that its not mounted up-side-down lol! Just out of interest, where is your amp mounted?

It could also be because your amp might be too small for what its powering, so its working too hard and getting hot

You could mount a small fan near it if the amp isnt too small, something like these: http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/default.php?cPath=73_56_57&osCsid=4b812bfeec70269d4296610c898b6346

I got my sub pushed back againest the sit on the left hand side of my boot, with the amp just infront of it!!! how do u put pics on and i'll try n get a pic of it!

make sure the fins allow air to flow up the channels,so on your amp the jenson writing would be on its side and you must have air flowing around your amp or/and fit a fan to flow air over the amp.not a big job and you can relay the fan power of the amp signal wire to keep air flowing over the amp

If you get fans, don't buy the "proper" car ones - just fit the 12-volt LED fans designed for computers, they're about three quid on ebay inc postage, or £1.80 +p&p on ebuyer :D
