overfuling

Hello everyone
Got an over fuling problem on my hgt but cant find a service manual. Any idea what it could be and does anyone know were i can get a service manual, as i have been told haynes do not make one.

Why do you think its overfueling?

The sparkplugs are going black and there is a slight drop in performance when hot.

Is the air filter clean and all pipes going to it free of blockages etc?

Yes put a 57i induction kit on to see if that will stop it and it hasent.

Wet black or dry black? Do you do alot of short runs?

If u read back I think Daz155HGT had a prob with his car and on removeing the earth battery lead over night. then refitting I think it resets the ECU .
then drive normal through the gears for a couple of miles and it re programs the ECU
I think or i may be wrong


ps if u do this have u got the radio code etc

Dry black quite alot of short trips under 4 miles

Thats nothing to worry about, the engine is still running ok choke at that sorta distance.
