The boost gauge is connected to the injector pump by a small rubber pipe. Usually the pipe splits where it connects to the pump or the boost sensor. The boost sensor is in the front wing under the battery. I have had this problem several times on both my 1.9Td's and it has been the pipe every time.

You can shorten it a bit to get to a good bit of pipe but I would go to your motor factors or garage and by a new bit of pipe. The pipe can be bad at either end.

Thanks again it was it, I've just shorten it, plugged it and it works. So simple when you know !!
