Technical Outside temperature sensor

Hi all,
I have a strange problem where the outside temp. is well below freezing (-10°C) and the reed out on the dash 74°C and more. Is this a bad outside temperature sensor? If so, can someone advice me how to replace it?

Yeah sensors probably gone open circuit

Iirc its in drivers wing.mirror

Yes, it is on passenger mirror, like nipple shape thing.
Does it affect anything on the car?
It seems not, but just to check with you guys

No - it dont affect anything
Its.literally just a "small feature" on your car
