camera 1 seems clearer. but camera 2 has better colours,possibly too much white balance set

colours seems a bit more natural and cam 2 seems oversaturated.

Camera 1 is clearly the better choice and but for being operated by a complete newb numpty I'm sure they would have come out better.

Have the photos been resized before putting on here? Photo1looks as though it has.

Camera 1 and 2 pictures have both been resized to near enough same size.
It's clear to see that Camera 1 is far far better at dealing with detail and shinny shinny cars!
Camera 1 is the W995 8.1mp opperated by Oz who didn't find the zoom button for 2hrs of taking photo's
Camera 2 is the new Nokia 6700classic witha 5mp camera opperated by me who is also useless at taking pics!
The reduction in size actually helps the pics from the Nokia look better.... so I think the answer is clear.
Oz has a better camera phone than me!!!

well i've decided to keep the Nokia.
Just rang Orange and basically they cocked up by sending me the 6500c for free on a £10 a month tarrif & if I send it back I'll have to go on a contract that is £20 a month and pay for the phone (£30-50)...
So I'm sticking with wot i've got - £180 contract with a £200 phone.
