OT:- Mobile phones, Programmes for editing/swapping numbers etc

Hi All

Just got a new phone

Now I want to transfer them all over... is there a way I can access all my contacts on my pc, go through them and edit them and them move them onto the new phone?

I normally just send them all over but I seem to be collecting loads of names I dont have a clue who they are over the years and would like to sort them all out etc.

Any ideas?

Nokia has a Software Suite that will allow you to arrange your contacts. Comes with the phone or can be downloaded. However you never stated what phone you have and what phone your removing the contact details from.

O2 also allow you to backup contacts etc, not sure if you can edit them though. Worth a try.

Yer depends what phone u got i.e software u need.If you hav one with the phone,install it,then go to 'Back up' i think it is and itll save everythin thats in ur phone.

yep, nokia to nokia.... never had a go with that suite thingy... need to try it

ive never used it b4 as ive never neede eit,just used my mass mem when transferin.BUT i had 2 install it when i updated my phone to 3.0.It saved everythin,then when i went to put back on again it were all there.
((i used it cus i upgraded my phone so it sent my phone back to factory settings))

Nokia suite is pretty self explanatory.

Install it.

Connect USB to phone

Sync PC & Phone

Mess with contacts list on PC

Connect USB to new Phone

Sync Phone & PC.
