Ot... I think my comps dead :-(

I turn it on.. and it just does a very long beeeep at me.. then a few secs of spinning fan noise then a long beeep again....

Any ideas??


oh and just b4 this happened it would just freeze after about 1min so u had to restart it again....


I did a full virus scan on it about 4 days ago.... so i dunno wots up with it

You might want to take an actual look at the motherboard's capacitors.


Any cap with a non-flat top indicates that your mobo may a victim of the scam that Abit was found guilty of.

Plus, look for any brown residues.

remove the graphics card and reinsert it after blowin dust out. then do same with the ram. should fix it.

whilst there double check the ide cable to motherboard and hard drives.

mine does this all the time in the car. cos g card falls out over bumps
