OT* (ebay) claiming payments - how it works?

You guys are always keen to help so do pls enlighten me further on this.

Ebay send you msg talling you the buyer has paid, and that paypal is processing the transaction. I guess you only really know then if you've got the funds when you look at your paypal a/c. What then is the point of that 'claim payment' key. Does that then merely register for ebay from when the buyer should expect to receive the goods (depending on the dispatch time you selected when you did the listing?) Cheers all.

Alright nico it was me who messaged you about the service kit. I think you need to claim the payment as at the moment it is floating inbetween our paypal accounts, possibly has something to do with limited transaction history?

i had that once few year back,cant remember why but i ended up ringin paypal themselves to claim some money.can be found under 'Contact Us'

I can't say I have ever had any problem with sending or receiving money from paypal and I have sent as much as £5.000 in one go to the USA. Maybe It is because my paypal is a direct link to my debit account
