My mate damaged his antiroll bar on his mk2 Golf GTi. He couldn't find a replacement part locally so he asked me to get one off partsgateway.co.uk , which I did and I ordered it for him this morning!

My mate called me back, saying that the garage where his car's being fixed have fixed the Antiroll bar so no need for a new one! Is it safe to "fix" an antiroll bar?

Also, is it possible to cancel an order I've made with the Partsgateway.co.uk???

Not too sure to be honest! But if it's damaged in some ways, it's fixable then??

You can bend them a small way but anything involving heat or welding is not good. Its basically a spring.

I see.

I don't know why i'm so worried, it's not even my car!

you are right to be worried...because its your mate. sounds a little bit dodgy imho :s
