If you go for the 1.4 you're more likely to get a deal as that is the slowest seller. You probably wont have to wait either as most dealerships seem to have stock of them. Don't expect a discount off the 500's price think only 1 person on here has managed that. Try to get some accessories (alloys mats etc) thrown in or at a reduced price, I managed that with alloys, auto climate, esp and leather.

I'm not going for the 1.4. Ive driven the 1.2 twice (albeit briefly), and the 1.4 once, and for my needs, I cant justify the 1.4 over the 1.2. Most of my driving is in the city, with the occasional burst down the dual carriageway to see my dad. A couple of times a year, I do some long distance stuff. I'm going to try to take the 1.2 for a longer test drive next week.

I knew I wouldnt get any discount off the car, but im gonna push for the best finance deal I can get, and definitely some mats.

Nice spec.
Only thing I personally would change would be to add the full leather interior (you get split rear seats and head restraints with this) and take off the parking sensors. If you need these on such a wee car should you really be on the road.

The leather is great, I agree to lose the parking sensors and go for the leather.

No leather for me. I quite like the standard interior, and I'd miss the underseat storage.

As for the parking sensors. If im paying close to £11,000 for a car, im quite happy to pay £250 to help avoid pranging it!
