500 ordered my first new car

Eagerly awaiting delivery of my new twinair lounge in new age cream. Had to wait a while as I wanted esp on it. It should be arriving around Christmas. Nice present. Would anyone recommend getting steel wheels with winter tyres straight away?

Yes. The smug look you'll have on your face when you are in control of the car on icy, snowy, or very wet/muddy roads whilst people are slipping about or struggling will be priceless

I've had loads of new cars over the years, but most of them were supplied by my employer at the time. I've bought one or two nearly new motors as well, but nothing compared to the only two absolutely brand new, first name on the logbook cars I've ever bought.

My Panda MJ on the 8th March 2005 and my Uno 60DS on the 3rd June 1989. The Uno sticks in my mind so much that I use that date to remind me that I got married the following Saturday, the 10th. That way I will never forget my wedding anniversary. As you might expect, Mrs. Beard is over the moon that in order to remember our anniversary I think of car first.

Welcome to the club Sadly my 4x4 is a 1.2 Mk3 and my 500 is a 1.2 and not a twinair, but they're still a nice pair of cars.
