Hi all,
I got my bravo back from the garage yesterday, having had a bit of an exploratory search for the source of a gargle sound from 4th gear. They found some wear on one of the 4th gear cogs (final drive?) and a couple of chips out of some teeth, a useless synchromesh on 2nd gear and a warped circlip...oh as well as the crescent shaped clutch plate that was left over. All have been replaced for the reasonable price of £340. But the noise still remains, and I think it sounds a bit rough in 3rd too now.

The guys at the garage are totally foxed by this, but have offered to look further with no labour charge in order to fix it.
Can anyone suggest what this might be please? It doesn't bother me too much with the stereo on, but now I have started looking i'd like to get it sorted.
cheers,
Marko
