Underneath of boot seal will need replacing as it rusted away

Drivers sill flappy bit about 3" at front and back have gone and is held there by the underseal

Apart from these bits the car as no more rust :D

Excuse my technical terms. The rod thing that goes into the box that like an udder is leaking. How do I stop it. Pics may give a better idea

Unless the exhaust has holes or is blowing leave it alone. They often look like they are about to fall apart but often go on for years.

Again with the fuel tank, unless its leaking, best to hand wire brush it and slap on some hammerite.

I have not really checked exhaust for holes. It don't sound like it has any, just looks like it on it last legs. May just replace the rubbers, will count the pennies after I have sorted the rust.

The tank ain't leaking, just looks ugly

If you petrol filler pipe has no damage then i will go halves with you Gaz as the tank costs 50+10 postage but it comes with a new connecting pipe... my 155.80.13 took a chunk out of mine on the standard rims... but the alloys seem to be clearing much better.

PM me if it's do-able and we can set something up.

mine failed the MOT on the tank so it was a must buy for me...

Thanks Tony, I will have a look at the pipe, just in case it is or shows any sign of failing on me. If it is fine then you got yourself a deal (y)

I forgot to say that both the doors have had it :(, so either gonna try find some decent ones, or go see if I can get new metal on the bottom of the doors

Do you think I should invest in some new window, door and boot seals? because the original ones are obviously not working :D . Is it possible to get hold of new ones?

Good luck finding decent doors! Especially in Sisley colours! I've got 3 non rusty doors - two in black and one white one. but none are 'perfect' i.e small dents etc..........
I've also got the two red 1000s doors off red but they both have very rusty bottoms.
Best idea I think is to re-metal the botom of both doors and Black up the bottom of the car up to the Side trims!

Yes you can get all new window and door seals but I don't fancy the Fiat prices! I might have some decent ones in my garage off a nice 1000s I strippedin Devon a couple of weeks ago.........:)

...new exhaust system? Flash has one! £119.oo fitted at kwik-fit

really... the whole lot I got quoted by them yesterday

front section 62.60
mid section 44.30
back section 70.70
1.00 dispposal of old unit.

all prices with fitting included

needless to say i'm sure people can do better than this.

I would get a s/s made up. I know a guy who could probably do me one for £100. The car would rot around it but at least I would have a shiney exhaust.

I broke the plastic trim that goes up drivers rear quart, it got the canoe badge on it. Is this trim on all pandas. Or just special ones, the canoe looks like it is just a badge so I will carefully take that off, if I can

I should stop looking at the panda cause I found something else I need to fix, a small rust spot around the windscreen. It looks like the glass has been replaced and they have probably caught the paint work casuing it to rust over time. It only looks surface but after the "easy" job I undertook yesterday I am expecting the worst.

You have to take the badge off to get at the bolt or clip that holds the trim on so you can use any side trim off a panda and then just refit the canoe...

I hope I have done the right thing. I wasnt really sure what I was doing

Now I have to put some rust killer on it, can it wait till next weekend?

oh it's all fixed now... Except I've not put the car back together yet...

As long as you've not got rust in the chassis rails everything is fixable (or so they all told me when I came on here crying me eyes out..:p )
