Got a new radio today for €19 around £13! Got USB and sd card input plus aux in
Very happy?
I will need take the old radio out and clean up and re-paint the radio housing unit

Don't want to spoil your mod process but are you just spraying plastic bits with black mat paint? Any dedicated primer?

Problem with painting plastic is that it will peel off sonner then later.

I got a white generic primer, then 2/3 spray of Matt black paint for plastic.. On the the front grill I just used the black paint...
Could you gimme advise on the correct primer?

Have to say, I just blew over the grill with whatever satin black paint I had around just to see what it looked like. That was 2008 I think and I've never had to revisit it since.

I used a specific car mat paint... I had some left over primer so I used in interior panel trims and then sprayed the black paint
Finger crossed they will last few years! ?

People have done Cinq alloys before and they work. If you want them then you can go for them, they're definitely obtainable for under your price range
