Hi, I had lots of repairs and issues on my doblo 2013 1.3 engine 263a2000. What is the manufacturer valid oil pressure. Thanks.

Hi, sorry to hear you’ve had so many issues with it. For the Doblo 2013 1.3 (engine code 263A2000), the exact oil pressure specs can vary slightly, so it’s best to check the owner’s manual or ask a Fiat dealer or qualified mechanic to confirm the manufacturer’s correct range. That way you’ll have the most accurate and safe info.

Thanks. Any values at idle? I got 10 psi on idle and 3.2 bar at 4k rpm. The 4k rpm value seems fine. The idle seems low. I already blew turbos but did change components since. I didn't messure before repair the values.

Just a small point and obviously if wear in main bearings that will affect oil pressure, I assume the correct 5x30 grade low ash oil, but also was the low oil pressure immediate after rebuild as I have seen many of those small diesels with the oil diluted by leaking injectors or where repeated attempts at Regen has put extra diesel into the engine and got into the engine oil watering it down.
A quick sniff and feel of the oil on the dipstick can be a guide.
Blocked oil pick up strainer gauze or a crack in the oil pick up pipe/gasket etc. can be another cause, along with poor oil filter.
Finally I assume idle speed is correct at around 850rpm?

Car suffered from hydrolock. Rod bearings were changes with piston rings. I just changed pump that had scarring and the valid are as I specified. Q is if 0.7 bar ok or it will ruin car. I will try to change to 5 40. Previous temp was with fresh oil

And yes idle is around 700 to 800 rpms

If I change only bottom half of main bearings I will be good?

Probably not a good idea, sorry.
Although given the engine deasign I can see the reason for the question.;)
Idle Rpm seems a bit low as 850 -+ 20 seems to be recommended.
Out of interest what is the oil pressure when idle held at 850rpm?

I will check

I rechecked rpm is indeed around 800 +- hard to tell exactly. But if normal is 850 than its 850 all is smooth... Q is if its safe to use car with normal high rpm oil pressure values but low idle around 10 psi maybe a bit more.

In the old days oil pressure lights came on at around 7psi and it wasn't uncommon to see them flickering at tick over, however modern engines developing much more power are under more strain, so I wouldn't like to see the light coming on with engine running.
So overal it is indicating wear in the engine.:(

Light goes on only between if lower than .5 I'm at around 0.7

Considering it. Thinking of removing transmission and bed plate and keeping block on car
Sounds like a lot of work upside down with oil dripping in your face, personally I would have engine out to do anything.
If worse came to worse and you found the crank needed grinding and over size main and big end bearing shells fitting then a lot easier with engine out already.

Can I pull engine up from top or I need to remove bumper and radiator etc? You would pull it out with transmission and all? As one piece?
