After the last change of the oil & filter, I've installed a new genuine oil filter number 71753738 made in china.

I don't remember how the oil pressure light used to be but it seems to turn off not immediately after start.
engine passed only 160,000km.

would that seem to be ok? I don't have any knocks or pressure light when I'm driving besides that.

that light is for oil pressure?
i thought it lights up when car is low on oil or something, atleast when i havent changed oil for like 2 years that light was on for few secs everytime i turned the car off, that stopped happening with new oil

Did FIAT give any feedback on that filter?

nope, just forwarded me to FIAT dealer in my country who can't answer my questions. they won't give me any info about parts besides that it could made in different countries.

i often use selenia 20k as well, my cinq 16v has that in right now - but i still don't leave it in for 20k miles. My 2009 alfa 159 has 20k mile service intervals but i ignore that too and do it every 10k and i can confirm that the oil is as nasty as i would like it after 10k, the air filter is filthy after 10k as well.

Modern cars can do that kind of distance between services according to manufacturers (not that a mk1 punto is a modern car at all and its service intervals are not 20k as fingers said) but general wear and tear is alot less if you service things more often. And by your own admission, the oil is cheap so why not. Annual service on my cars includes air filter, oil & oil filter and full coolant flush and renewal as a bare minimum and i think thats a good policy.
