Just been told my '97 2.0S with 114K miles has sprung a leak, probably at the crank-shaft oil seal. The dark patch on the driveway tends to support the leak possibility... However, the drip seems to come from the front right of the engine, how could that tie-in with the supposed source of the leak? Also I'm told that to replace said oil seal would cost in the region of the value of the car. What if I just put down a drip tray and kept going? - comments?
