I've a 2001 1.9 EL (non turbo) with 140k on the clock. I've noticed oil spray on the timing belt cover. I'm thinking crankshaft oil seal or camshaft seal. Has anybody had this happen? Oil level is remaining ok so think this is a slight weep which probably looks worse than it is. The van is due its' second timing belt which I'm presuming will be a big job. Any advice welcomed.

Think I'll give up on this forum. Nobody seems to want to reply ... sigh!

If its not losing much oil I wouldn't worry myself, I paid £200 for a cambelt and water pump change so not a big job really if its a decent van. That was a local garage cash no receipt, a decent mechanic will/ should tell you if the oil is an issue once he has the cover off and before replacing belt.
Cambelt change is recommended at 80k I think so you have some mileage yet if your confident mileage is correct!
If I had to guess as to where the oil is coming from I would say the rocker cover mate
