have an 07 1.3 multijet. is the oil filter the black upside down dome on the top, front left hand side of the engine. if it is mine has a small leak comeing from it, is there a seal or do you just have to replace filter? havent the time to take it back to dealers so if it's an easy job i'd do it myself. any help would be appreciated! also is it fully synthetic oil for this engine?

thanks, but oil filler cap is yellow. black dome just to right of oil filler tube got three star drive bolts holding it in place! although the leak seems to have almost stoped!

Mark, The oil filters under the black shield at the front on the 1.3 Multijet.
The filters sealed by an O ring which fits into a groove *partway down* the plastic filter holder/cap.
Its possible its not been seated properly so I would take it back if I were you.
If you do decide to look yourself you will need a 27mm socket.
The O ring relies on its own side pressure between the groove in the plastic filter housing/holder and the metal of the lower filter housing. Its not sealed by pressure of tightening the plastic housing down.

Oil on my *05* Multijet is 5w40 semi synthetic to ACEA B4.
