General oil feed from engine to turbo

If you read what i said earlier it is possible to T into the oil pressure sender outlet to supply the turbo oil feed , then use the sandwich plate for oil cooler or remote filter if you have no room for the filter in stock position.

yep been looking into this stuff... the best way it to take the feed from the ports on the pump. then buy a take off plate (blanks off the original oil filter with and input and output) run hoses from this to a remote oil header. the oil cooler then goes on the return from the filter with a thermostat between it.

does the return need to be right above the oil level?
My smoking is from oil sloshing. today i slammed the brakes on from lowish speed. did nothing. then i did some pretty hard braking from high speed and i think its when all the oil goes to the front of the sump for some time (not just splashing)

Now i wonder, does the 16v engine have the same blanked-off oil feed on the pump as the 8v? sounds like it would be better to feed the turbo off the blanked bit and oil cooler through a thermostatic sandwich plate....

oil return has to be above oil level in the sump yeah, oil slosh hitting the return = restriction.
