Technical Oil cooler question

Hi all
Car is running great just got 1 small question. I have fitted the oil cooler below but it never gets hot, it will stay at 60 all the time unless i let it idle for 15 mins, even driving hard it still stays at 60 is this right?

That sounds like the cooler is doing its' job to me... keeping your oil cool. :S

maybe a duff sandwich plate thermostat

is there a lag on the warming of the oil cooler (while the stat is closed) then suddenly it gets hot, or is it in line with the dash reading (always open).

if it's stuck open in this wethaer it will over cool.
