What is oil consumption for 2.3 120multijet , i have 7.000km on odometer and half of oil on oil stick
When i bought the van with 40km on odometer the oil was little bit less then maximum on oil stick

Mine burns no oil but it has a very easy life.100kph almost empty all the time.

If you have no leaks or smoke I would expect to use very little oil with that mileage.
When you first checked the oil was the engine hot or cold you will get different readings between the two.
I always dip the oil before I start up in the morning so I get an accurate reading.

Generaly, difference on oil stick between when i took the van with 40km and now with 7.000km is about 3mm

Today we were told by Fiat that 600ml per 1000Km is acceptable on a 1 year old camper nearly run 18000 km. For a trip up and back in Norway this could use nearly 5 litre of motor oil. Pluss the 2 Litre UK to Norway and back. At over 1000 NKr for 5 Litre just over £100. This is with the Euro 6 engine. It has a good fuel consumption but its costing the savings on Oil.

My 1993 TD10 used plenty of oil from new especially on long runs in the hot climate of Southern Spain. I put things down to generous clearances in the engine because there has never been any sign of leakage past oil seals. It's just the way Fiat make engines I fear. I agree that it should not be so, the cost of lubricating oil is such that a pint or two a week makes a dint in the economy of running any vehicle. I mitigate things by buying Ertoil or Cepsa HD10W/30 oil in 50 litre barrels, which at 130 euros works out at 2.6 euros per litre, and it's the same oil I put in my 400hp truck engine which works hard all day pulling 45 tons around, so I call that good enough for a motor caravan.
