Searched the forum you think that the words 'oil and seicento' would come up with the answer but alas not.

Ideal oil for Sei MPI Is it 15w 40??

Also need new wipers. Was in hellfrauds and had their brand and some bosch ones to choose from. The boschs were a lot more expensive, any benefits from buying those over the hellfrauds ones?

Well there was 9 quid difference between the wipers wondered what i would be getting for that 9 quid

Ive seen 15w 40 mentioned before hence putting it, put MPI in case it was owt different but didnt expect it to be TBH

Always a great help everyone on here :D

Well I've had my car 4 years and only replaced the wipers once with the Bosch ones and they are perfect still.

Semi synthetic 10w40 is recommended for MPi FIRE units. 15w40 for SPis.

Ok, here's one for you....which oil do you use in an 1108 (originally equipped with SPi) thats now fitted with a MPi on a 75 head....

I'm guessing 15w40 as the bottom end is the same.

My 1108 SPI has been running 10w40 semi synth since I took ownership, I found on the first change it revved alot better afterwards.

spi = Single point injection. All cinquecentos and seicentos up to 2001 had this type of fuel injection system in engine

MPI = Multi point injection. All Seicentos from 2001 to end of life had this fuel injection system

F.I.R.E = Fully Integrated Robotised Engine. Basically the engine unit itself
