Have had my Tjet 150 Sport since December now (great car) and despite being possibly the biggest *wuss* when it comes to parking the car up (making sure not to scuff the 18" alloys against the high curbs in our area) it seems that somehow I have bloody managed to scuff BOTH passenger side wheels! Grrrrrrr.

It isn't massively bad or noticeable... when I haven't washed the car for a week or two it becomes most noticeable becuase the scuff marks collect the dirt and show up more... giving a horrible rough look to the outside of the rims where they are damaged.

Anyone know the best/cheapest way to get these 2 wheels fixed?

Don't worry, my girlfriend did it to my loverly newer style MJET150 alloys, I was not amused. But still, worse could happen.

i did my drivers alloy in the snow, only a little mark.

my main concern is how the hell my passenger one is getting chewed when, (a) i park the car on a drive (and the kerb is lowered) and (b) never draw up to the kerb and (c) take care not to hit anything and cannot recall even catching that side.

I put it down to my local co-op having a slightly raised kerb.

my issue is i have the 17" polished ones which apparantly cannot be refurbed

I have the 18" alloys for my Bravo as pictured here:

Are these able to be refurbished? Or is it really a case of purchasing 2 brand new alloys from the stealer?

Thanks for any advice.

Just spoke to them on the phone and quoted me £80 per wheel! Ouch. What's more, being a mobile refurbisher... I doubt they will be as quality as a proper refurb shop (he said he could do both wheels in about 4 hours)...

What you reckon?

I just found this place as well: http://www.wheelmates.co.uk/ who charge £50 per wheel, so that will work out £60 cheaper, but they require that the car is left with them for approx 2 days to complete the work (but the guy did emphasize how much better their quality of work will be, basically stripping the entire wheel and refurbing rather than patching up the bad areas)...

Try thewheelspecialist. They are franchised based around the country and I got all 4 of my alloys powdercoated, in a single day, to a very high standard for £220 after "negotiation" (times are hard!)

Drive in, drive out done, no waiting except for, in my case, a days shopping in Brum with Mrs Ffoxy! (y)
