Oh No! Car went bang!

Forgot to mention this....The day I was going on holiday (3 hours before I was being picked up, still had to pack!) I was just going for a spin with two mates in my car. I got stuck in a traffic jam and started to smell radiator oil, bo**ocks!! My bloody radiator had gone. It only took 3 hours to get home (parked for an hour to cool down then driving carefully until it was warm, then stopping again), had to pack in about 10 seconds (forgot loads of stuff in the process!). Got the radiator sorted though, on warrenty, thank god.

Just thought you might like to know about my first brush with Fiat reliability!

Anyone know if this wil have done anything else to my car that the garage may not have mentioned?

sorry you had such trouble, in my non technical experience, garages normally overstate the job, not understate it, so you are probably safe.

And radiators are normally filled with water and not oil!

My Car is now for sale, A total one-off, head turning bargin!!!​

But when the water has been in a while it gets contaminated with oil, hence radiator oil.

oil in the water?
Yes if the head gasket is gone .
Or if the the car is auto and the rad is leaking in to oil cooler part of it
