I went on the tesco compare website and entered all my details in and all the companies it checked said ' we are unable to provide a quote at this time' !
Even quinn direct who i am currently with, and ideas why?
are there any insurance companies that my fellow punto 16v owners would recommend?
I tried calling the fiat forum insurance but apparently you have to be over 19 (i'm 18)

im with quinn and just had my renewal quote back, ive had a crash in my first year and ive got a 1.2 8v mk2b modded aswell. Quinn let you doing any visual modds you want like bumpers skirts etc. Just performance mods like air filter lowering etc. My exhaust is for sound and visual not performance and they said that was ok. My car had this done,

lowered 30mm front 15mm back,
cat back exhaust,
induction kit,
alloys,

my quote first year, first time driving at 17 was £2000 from quinn , 400 less that everywhere else, Now my renewal was £2100 which was including the crash and car as standard, But then i told them i had the modds and it went up to £2400 and i can do any visual mods i want and it doesnt go up. I tried the fiat forum insurance and he said the same thing to me and that was ringing up today. im 18 now same as you. confused.com would be my suggestion to try next. Or you could ring the companies up which helps ,thats what i did with quinn rather than website and it worled out cheaper, not sure why but i did by 43 pounds
