Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: lets compare

My GF lives in Leeds. I'm sorely tempted to bowl round there next time i'm in the area and dish out some BOO ill feeling! Bet he's scared!

One thing I have done is to inform Watchdog. This sort of thing needs bringing out in the open so that the honest among us don't get bent over a barrel again. I dont normally condone the winge approach but would love to see the daft bastid being chased around the streets of Leeds by Nicky Campbell. :)

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: lets compare

I think those that have been con'd out of there money by using Ebay, should name and shame them here and also state what was bought.

This would help any other fellow Ebayers to know what to be cautious on.

.

Sign him up to the african 419 scheme's i.e. they email you requesting to put millions of pounds into your account due to something to do with the government and you get a 5% from it.

Give them the bank account details, he wont have any more left when they have his details ;)

Re: .

there WAS a feature on watchdog not so long ago about ebay, basically there is NO person to talk to about anything, everything is automated e-mails etc and there is no human being to speak to. the ebay head office is a dingi little converted factory with less then 40 employees, shocking considering the absouloutly huge ammount of profit they must be makeing

Re: Re: .

I once visited someone who sold my something dodgy over E-bay.

Oh did he get the shock of his life when I turned up on his front door step and walked into his mansion.

The satisfaction.. :)

(ps. I got a full refund, and he even offerd to pay me for my petrol money for the trouble he caused me)

Re: Re: Re: .

I too have been a victim.
Some B**tard ( superdream400 ) aka Paul from Carrickfergus N.Ireland.
I sent a cheque for £60 for a mobile phone...and it never turned up!!! I reported it to Ebay...and never got a reply from them either!
So i'm £60 down but i'm alot wiser for it. Now i'm looking for cheap tickets to N.Ireland so i can go and brick his windows!!!

Grrrr, Ebay sucks

I've started (well i hope i have) the process of getting my moeny back from ebay, but as has already been stated, its pretty much all automated, and i'm getting sick of the same email everytime i ask for someone to inform me of how to go about making a claim. I keep getting pointed at a site witch then asks me to fill out a form which i've already filled out! Grrr, it's pissing me off to be honest, almost not worth the £130 i'm down.

Went to the Leeds Police station today and have got the number for there internet fraud devision. if anyone wants it or their email address it's:-
[email protected] (yes, i know, really sticks in the mind that one!)
and the phone number is 0845 6060606 ext 22046

More common than you know

After being what I would consider an honourable and knowledgeable Ebayer, I will now never use it again. I have just been "legally scammed" by 2 powersellers, who have offered a refund, but they will still have made money through the old P&P. Plus I have to pay to return their crap,(one to Germany) and we are talking £££s here. There are no "bargains" and I will stick to the market/shops from now on.
BUYER BEWARE.

If you have his bank details, then contact the bank manager and advise him that this account is being used in connection with internet fraud.
