Odometer not working 2006 Punto Grande

Hi all,
Just bought my first car in a 2006 punto (grande), which has one or two technical issues I was hoping to iron out.
Most importantly the odometer screen does not work, and I really want to get this fixed. I've found a company that offers to repair the whole dash for £150, however this is an awful lot of money for me to shell out. Does anyone know either:
A company that can repair JUST the screen
A way to fix the screen itself

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi. Is it certainly faulty..or just lost communication..?
Rest of dash fine..and speedo ??

The screen does not work whatsoever, I'm not sure what this may mean. Rest of the dash works completely fine, just this screen that is the issue
