Whats the strongest beer available over here.......would also help if you knew the % figures

Do you mean brewed here???

There is one called Dogfish Head WorldWide stout, that is 23%, but that is actually brewed in America.

I was drinking some dutch stuff that was 12% a few weeks ago but I can't mind the name. Duvel is also pretty potent - that's about 8-9%

Cheers, just chatting with an american pefriend and she was saying their beer is around 3% so I just wondered about ours

The good old alternative to paint stripper.... Carlsberg Special Brew is 9% vol...

is it? I can't think of any off the top of my head stronger than the European stuff available in pubs/supermarkets. Most ales/beers I see are around 3-5.5%.

lol my gran chuked his cos hes 73 and still thinks he can be a bricklayer 5days a week lol he come with us now and then but he usualy just runs in when hes with us cos he cant help himself lol,

he was a fast bricklayer when he was younger i mean i lay between 800-1000 a day on price and my grandad was laying that in a morning lol ive seen him do a shade over 2000 on a factory unit once lol he was like bees wings lol
nowadays he is more bothered about listening to inglebert humperdink and drinking his ponche lol

My grandad retired at 80 and was so bored afterward.

And Patrick, starting a grandad related topic will mean we'll eventually get onto grandads :)
