Number plates

Hi all,

Strange question time for me.;)

Been bought a new reg for Christmas and the plates have slight scratches on them, can I polish these and wax them?

Dom

Seeing as the plastic plates are of a similar material to the rear lights of cars, I wouldn't see any problem in polishing out the scratches then sealing with a good wax/sealant.

(y) - I did the numberplates on a few of my old cars... never got stopped once or got a ticket etc.
