As Oran Park is destined to close this year to make way for a housing estate do not miss out...when i booked it it was 50% sold already.

The Below is from the website...check out the video footage from the last round while your there.

Hi Track Day / Advanced Driver Training fans,

Our next advanced driver training track day is fast approaching and over 50% booked already on Saturday June 13th – proudly sponsored by GoPro Hero digital cameras. You now have very limited time to lodge your entry and under a month to have that racetrack beast or European daily driver in good shape for the second last Oran Park event EVER!

With FREE advanced driver training included and the event run by Ian Luff Motivation Australia (compulsory driver assessment for 1st time attendees) you are guaranteed to not only learn new skills and build upon your car control, but also cut seconds from your lap time on this soon to be closed circuit.

Ian Luff and the Driving Motivation Team are regarded as the best in NSW and will give you the best opportunity possible to walk away with a class prize for the day, and / or maximum points in the series – not to forget experience the abilities of your Exotic European vehicle like never before in a safe, controlled, police radar / speed camera free environment.

This event is tantamount to an Ian Luff Stage 3 Performance Driving Day (retailing for $375) and you can book in now for only $285 (not including the $15 EPCC entry fee - normally $50).

You not only save almost $100 on the RRP, you have the chance of winning some jaw dropping Motorsport Camera's from GoPro Hero and earn valuable series points – even if you’re not competing in the whole series, don’t miss this opportunity to put your car and your skills to the test…do you have what it takes to win?

Date: Saturday 13th June

Cost: $300 including driver training, discounted motorsport photography, in car and external circuit footage, light refreshments and lap timing ($285 payable to Circuit Club and $15 to the EPCC Team in advance or on the day).

With $600 worth of GoPro Hero digital cameras plus more series points on the table, we hope to see you there.

Thanks and safe motoring

The EPCC Team

WTF? I did my first advanced driving day there more than a decade ago. It's closing down?!?!?!? You leave Aus for a few years and the place goes to the dogs :)

Seriously, that's sad. Such a fun place being turned into a housing estate.

*sigh*

:(

I know...the developers were even handing out 'Oran Park Town' (name of the estate) caps.

There are more tracks in Victoria now than NSW...might have to move also (y)

:nerner: I'm already there, and the starter at 2 of them (ok, so one of them is now a nightclub...)
Victoria...The Place To Be :p

It is sad that Oran Park is going the way of Amaroo, Lakeside (until recently) and many other great suburban circuits. But unfortunatly it is inevitable, as cities get bigger, the need for housing gets bigger, as does the footprint needed for the houses.
And the money to be made out of subdivision is far greater than any profit (if any) that can be made by a motor racing circuit.
