not on MID

bought insurance with the post office via confused.com on the 15th to start 0.00 16th jan, two days later now and the car is still showing as not on the insurance database [askmid.com site]

I have the printable PDF certificate of insurance, but IF upon showing that to a policeman that may pull me on suspicion of no insurance, how on earth will be believe me when the certificate has spelling mistakes on it!!!

How long does it take for car to show up on insurance database?

Ask the Post Office. After getting the Pajero I think it took about 3-4 days to appear, you need to speak to the Post Office anyway to get them to correct any mistakes.

It takes the MID up to 7 days to upload you details to their database, if it isnt showing on the 8th day then contact them.
