I saw this, and thought it might be of interest to some of our members. I'd have a punt myself, but I don't have the space, and the missus would be furious!
Looks like a good selection of parts.
*Not my listing.

2 days to go, no bids. Mind you, it's a very poor listing. Half a dozen phone screen shots of a library of photos. It's hard to tell if there are 6 gearboxes, or 6 photos of 1 gearbox. Even when selling a job lot, you can help your self a bit by listing it better.

It's been listed before, didn't sell obviously. and yes there are multiple photos of single items. He won't sell in this format

A pal of mine stuck his neck out and bought this lot. It was a risk because of the uncertainty of the listing but it did turn out to be genuine after all. The guy does not use this forum but if there was anything there that anybody had their eye on I can put you in touch as there will be parts surplus to his requirements. All the bits have shipped to the midlands area.

I am potentially in the market for a new camshaft and associated parts to fit it. I think it unlikely that there's one in there, but I could be interested if there is.

I'd like the internal door mechanism that's shown in this photo

I have passed on the message to the guy and if I get a positive response I will put you in touch. Actually he has not even had a chance to go through what he has, he got home about midnight after a 500 mile round trip. The chances of finding a good sport camshaft I would think are a bit remote but you never know stranger things have happened.
I have read all your posts re your engine, a 594cc that seems to have the output of a 499cc which is most frustrating. Normally the only difference between the 500R engine and the series one 126 is the carb that you have addressed. Greatest of respect to the likes of Ian - bleeding knuckles and the scientific micro analysis of engine tuning I come at it from the angle of what has been done and what works with an engine design that is the best part of 70 years old. It always comes back to carb, head, exhaust and head as a basic formula.
With my last 499cc 500L I too was frustrated by the steep or long inclines when I used the car as a daily driver. I tested the car as it was on a long straight with a Rev counter fitted and flat out the engine reved to 5,700rpm. I had taken a spare cylinder head with a choice of valves to a motorcycle engine tuning specialist. Did not skim the head as it was new but had the porting improved, valves modified, larger inlet valves fitted. With that head fitted along with a 28IMB carb fitted I repeated the test this time reaching 6,300rpm at which point the old cooling fan exploded, that’s another story but be warned. So I am with Tom - the Hobbler on that one.
It is handy if you can get your hands on another cylinder head so you can just do a swap when ready.

I was in communication with the seller before he listed it as a job lot as there were some bits I needed. Im after the flexible drive shaft couplings

No, that's not the one. Taken a screenshot of the one I'm after from the original listing..
Not sure what part you are after but this and the opposite side came from a 500F so the same as a 500L and 500R as well.
Having said that we discovered that the near side one I showed has a small lever missing. The one that connects to the outer door handle.
This picture shows a complete off side lock assembly.

The one that's shown on the listing is from a Fiat X19

Hi everyone,

I bought this lot and now have it up near Halifax, West Yorks. I haven't been through it all yet but I have made a start. It was a very full car on the way home!

I've taken photos of the first set of items!

I'll send you a message Sledgehammer, about the lock, if you're interested?
Cheers
Chris
