Hi and thanks.
This car is halfway to being a motorbike for fun factor!! Which is fine by me 'cause they are my first love.
Living inside the London ring road so needed to oust the old dirty VW Caddy Maxi (be prepared for future) for something ULEZ friendly.
Anyone fitted a tow bar?
Any service info, manuals....would appreciate a pointer.

Also....I paid £66 road tax for a 411cc Royal Enfield Himalayan Motorbike! Euro 4 (this is the latest bike standard which are different for cars)

What do you think of the Himalaya?
It might well have got on my "wanted" list if I did not already have 10 bikes
 
I've pared it down to 3 bikes now.....I like the Himalayan, yeah it's low power old school kinda thing but it has character. I bought it for local country lane poodling....then went on 2000 miles camping tour! Simple home servicing which I like. Am I going to be able to do that with the Panda?

Hi, I fitted a tow bar that I ordered online. Can't remember the source but I think it was a Witter brand and came with FIAT printed labels.

Instructions were pretty good but did advocate cutting a large hole to fit a cable grommet (in boot) which I avoided by feeding the cable through the vent holes.

You do need to trim the rear bumper but this is made so much easier these days with a multitool type saw. The bumper has to be removed and the bumper sub-frame removed and discarded but the instructions cover all this using pretty clear info-graphic type "cartoons". I think I had it all sorted in a morning and did the work on the drive.

Be sure to order one for the 4x4 - they are different. The kit requires a permanent live which is provided with a fused link in the engine bay off the battery.

The one I have has a removable swan neck; I use it to tow dinghies and for a bike carrier.

Enjoy the car and quirky engine; keep the oil clean for the uni-air module!
 
Thanks for your time and info...it's the electrics that poss may cause the head scratching but I will see when it arrives and start checking the interweb if I get stuck.

DONT cut a hole in the floor for the electrics to the towbar, use the existing hole that feeds the reversing light and fog lamp loom. It is located under the plastic boot liner trim on the inner side of the boot. Just two plastic expansion plugs to pop out and it clicks off..
 
You will need the correct wiring module for the tow bar electrics but you probably already know that. ;)
DO NOT use Scotchlocks or similar to connect the tow socket wires. If you don't have the correct tools, get an auto electrician to do it.

Thanks...I have a module included...roger the scotchlok connectors.
I have a hammer so should be ok tool wise:D
I don't have any wiring diagram info so need to explore a bit.
