noob signing in

Hi all

I have just brought a grande punto multijet sporting and thought i better join a forum coz from what people have told me i am bound to have problems with it.

Peter.... Welcome here, but do relax!

I have over 62,000 miles on my re-mapped MJet now, and I'm keeping it for at least another year, I've had it 3 years now & its been more reliable than my previous Mitsubishi! Yea I had a few faults 99% fixed in the 1st 3 years under Warranty. All cars break, some just pay more for the privelege! Dont believe all you hear, Fiats are budget cars but looked after, esp with the MJet lump, you will have a great car, the guys on here are really helpful too!

I hope you are right, reliability aside i think the grandi punto is so gd looking and for a diesal the 1.9 mjet engine is really nice and pulls well to.

Sharkrider on here has 90,000+ miles on his 2007 model, just look after it, check service history & dont stress... cars are cars... sometimes they break... fact of life.
