Noob here :)

Just traded my 5 year old Seat Leon TDi SE in and purchased a Fiat Panda 100hp in New Orleans Blue, pick it up in 3 days (was tempted with a white one but the dealer looked  at me).

First and probably only mod to do, replacing all the Fiat badges on the grille, tailgate, wheels and steering wheel with Abarth badges (will post pics when done if required)

Dave.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

12 hours to go before I pick the new Panda up, never been so excited about picking a new car up :D

Any one would think you were ashamed of your FIAT

Welcome to the Abarth - sorry - FIAT Forum; you've made an excellent choice. I'm sure you'll love it, a very different character to your Leon (y)

No, not ashamed, just like the scorpion badges in red better and it makes it look a little bit different (I had the Leon totally de badged anyway)

The Leon was a cracking car but was time to change (got bored and started to dislike the Leon, as you do) also the running costs on it was getting a bit steep, for example the scheduled timing belt and water pump replacing price, £325+VAT

So was on the look out for a new car and was looking at the Gran Puntos til we saw the 100HP in the showroom and loved it, so bought it (got a good trade in too) also not seen any 100hp (loads of 4x4 and other Panda's) around here either also I wont be a sheep in a run of the mill car like a Focus lol

You'll be changing them back when you've fallen in love and you want to shout it from the rooftops (let's hope so anyway) ;)

Picked it up today (in the snow!) and woohoo we love it, put an extra 20 miles on the delivery 5 miles (y)

Just got a small niggle with the fuel flap of all things :bang: (see post in Panda section)
