General non turbo vs turbo diesel engines

I was just wondering what the advantages/disadvantages of non turbo against turbo engines

Try driving them to experience the gutless performance of non turbo engines often coupled by poor MPG. The argument that turbos were more complex and prone to failure doesn't hold true nowadays with huge strides in reliability.
