Hey guys, need a little help.

My 2003 seicento 1.1 sporting will not start, It turns over, starter motor attempts to make something happen, but nothing.

  • There is fuel reaching the cylinders but there is no spark
  • I understand there are threads on this however my case is a little different.
  • I have removed the engine, done the head gasket, timing, clutch, etc and put it back it.
  • I have checked all the wiring again and again and had others check it.(i marked it all beforehand)
  • I have redone all the earths and fitted a new crank sensor. still nothing.

Just to reiterate, no spark- engine turns on starter, fuel reaching cylinders, crank sensor already replaced

Has anyone done an engine swap, or just removal/refit and had this issue.

Am i missing something obvious?

Any help is apprectaited

Thanks
Brik

appreciate the replies (y)

earths are good, crank sensor is good, and just checked today i have full power running to coil (12v)

each coil connector has two wires apparently one is the main one activated once cranked running 12v and the other is constant running at so many millivolts.

both wires have the correct voltage running on both connectors.

This leads me to believe its the coil pack shot (as leads and plugs are good)

before i have to buy a coil pack could there be something else i've missed that would mean my coil pack wouldn't work, even with power to it?

Have measured Ohms on colis? You have in workshop manual, how much Ohm it needs to have. ;)
