Has anyone experienced them while driving? On mine they started on the rights side, and now the noises are coming from the left side, and are driving me crazy. Other then that, i'm very satisfied with the car.

On my next service i won't take the car unless that's taken care of. First the dashboard vibrated between 2000-2500 rpm's,and the metal and plastic sound came from the right ventilation area..Now its gone on to the left side, and changed the sound a bit:D..Not boring at all..I was tempted to dismantle it myself..Fortunately, that idea has gone away very quickly:D

I see dead people :D

Relax, and press the acc pedal ;)

Why don't you just wait for it to disappear by itself? Opening the dashboard can cause a lot new sounds/problems IMHO...Wait for the summer, when the sun will melt a bit the plastic...It may stop by itself...

P.S. That's what I learned about this car: almost every problem can disappear by itself if you give it enough time :)
Check my "strange noise behind the dashboard" thread. Gone. :)

Trust me, if you have heard the sound you'd go mad too..Btw, it's a comfortable 30+ degrees here, black car 9 hours in the hot sun every day..That's when the sounds on the left side started..Maybe i should wait for winter:D:D:D

You do have the Hi-Fi stereo option, don't you? You'd be surprised how easily it makes a troubling sound go away :slayer::D

My next door neighbour is a mechanic and he always says that..Vise man..Must upgrade the stereo then:D

Mine rattles every where, behind the driver side dash, passenger's side, left side rear window, right side rear door, you name it, it started when the car done 800miles, some gone during winter period and back now due to the warm weather I think, it got to be something to with the material expanding under high temp, ask dealer look at it twice and cant find anything, they notice the rattle but couldnt fix it, so good luck!!

Great..I'll go mad...Tnx for your answer...But I'll still ask them to try to fix it..

I have the active model with 15" wheels and I also have noises coming from behind the dashboard. When the stereo is on it's not so bad but other times it's very annoying.

When there was a small noise on left side i said ok i won't take it to the dealer cause i dont want them to remove the dashboard but now that the noises became louder I'm thinking I should ask the dealer to fix it cause my car only has 3000km on the clock.

I had a very annoying noise coming from what seemed to be the right of the dash board, after further inspection I located the noise inside the wing.

After opening the wheel well cover it turned out the be a loose plug bouncing around inside the wing (probably the tire pressure sensor wiring).

Mine suddenly developed an annoying clicking-rattle in the centre area where the gear stick is going up to the join between the main dash and the climate control screen. Really annoying. The weirdest bit was that it didn't exist at all - basically a silent car since new - then it started on a motorway trip on Friday (half way through it for no reason) and it's been there since.

I find myself tutting and saying 'Fiats' when listening to it ;)

Ahh, lovely Finland - go there often!

No this one is really annoying... and getting worse, kind of ruins a really enjoyable ride (I do 2 hrs a day in the car for work)

Let me know if you come to Naantali and I´ll get the word here to
local Bravo owners (y)

Yes, the extra noise can be annoying ! Passangers side window was
an area, from wich came noises for a while. Low temperatures were
the cause of that. Same thing with the dashboard " noises".

Had my fiat for a couple of months now its my first. 1.9 jtd stilo. loads of torque nice looks(its a 3 door) my rattle moves daily. friend has an alfa gt think the italians put the rattles in to make each one unique. They all have a rattle but never in the same place. Had a vovlo before, boring, boring, boring. But quiet!

Update on my dashboard noises. They fixed the vibration on 2200 rpm's but the noise of the dashboard has apeared again after 2 or 3 days..Especialy when it's hot outside.
