General No Power

Having problems with power to fan. Taking plug out of radiator and shorting does not run fan, there is no voltage at plug. The fan will run when powered directly from battery. Any ideas where the power to the radiator switch originates from? Are there any relays for fan/cooling system? Both fuses are fine. Cheers!

The switch switches the earth (return). Try connecting the wires to the switch to earth, one at a time. If the fan works, replace the other wire (which will just go from the switch to earth).

There is a relay in the main fusebox.

fingers any idea which one small black red, large blue.tried meter on both wires in plug red to each wir then earthing other lead but this gave no voltage from either wire so im assuming that the live feed has broken down somewhere.Hope this makes sense find it easier to do than explain

I've no diagram to resolve it. But, easy way to tell would be to use a substantial cable to jump from the battery.
