Hi all.
My Cinq is still way down on power especially up hill or accelerating in higher gears. It just never gets to a decent amount of revs.
Anyway so far i have changed:
- Plugs and leads
- Coil Packs
- TDC Sensor
- MAP senor
- Idle Stepper Motor
- Throttle postion sensor
- Injector
I've had all the pipes to the the throttle body of numerous times and last night i swapped the ECU for a non coded 6F version. No difference. Except now the warning light thats a picture of a key with the word code under it is now on. Will this be solely due to the fact that the code box can't get a signal from the ECU or is it related to something else?
Also if the cars idleing and i disconnect the input to the stepper motor should it make a difference? Or if i disconnect it and blip the thottle? I wonder if the replacement could be a dud.
Got a compression tester on its way to check it over at the weekend as well.
Cheers
