I have had a Barchetta for a few years now and I haven't used it for about 4 years.
Been to start the car and it's not playing at all.
There is a spark, but there doesn't seem to be any fuel getting to the engine.

I can't find a working download link for the manual anywhere, so I have no idea where to start looking at this. The car is a 99 model.

I can't hear the fuel pump (not sure if I should be able to) and I believe there is a fuel cutout switch on the floor, but I put my finger in the split and I can't feel anything.

Any ideas ?

Hi friend. The Barchetta fuel pump is notoriously noisy so you should hear it. Even if it is working, 4 yr old is going to cause problems but it should fire. If you have turned the engine over for a while, you would expect a plug to be wet when you take it out. If it's dry, I would check the fuel pump first. Let us know how you get on. Steve

I PM'd you a link to the manual, it should get you started.
Check the pump is working. It's right under the cover behind driver side head rest. Turn the ignition on, it should run a few seconds. If it doesn't, check the fuse first.

If she is not starting and you cant hear the fuel pump and by chance you have the series 1 engine, the fuel pump fuse can be found behind the black plastic cover in the engine bay, situated on the bulk head behind the intake manifold.
Its a red 10amp fuse.

I believe the series 2 is under the steering wheel..

Good luck(y)

easier to first check if the fuel immobiliser is on.
press the button left to the driver seat on the floor mat. if the button is out the fuel pump won't work

you can see the fuel pump logo at the floor mat (look at the place in my previous post)
And yes, they all have it since all barchettas can crash:p

Fuses look ok, so it looks like I am going to be looking at the pump this weekend.

There is a hole in the rear screen so water will have been leaking into the area above the pump so it makes sense that could of caused a problem.

Thank you very much to everyone who has helped me it is appreciated.
