No Key code card

Just bought a new Panda Dynamic for her indoors, got a great deal with pre reg 06. Dealer says they do not now issue the key code card, is this correct, have looked on much earlier thread (2004 I think) which confirmed no issue from dealers.
Owners handbook states the card should be kept in a safe place, we havn't got one, how do we go on if something goes wrong.
Thanks in anticipation for any help on this subject.

Just order one from the Parts department for a few quid [a lot of us did the same for the Stilo] BUT don't keep it in the car.

Insurance companies don't like it, so they don't issue them by default.
