Technical No can network

My son fiddled with the car radio and now nothing works. When I turn on the radio it says NO CAN NETWORK then counts 5,4,3,2,1.
Any ideas how to fix this? It seems I can rewind/forward tape player but it won't play. Very mysterious. No one has been able to point in the right direction as yet. So am very hopeful here!!!

check connections at the back (ensure nothing's been cut.. as may be the case if he tried to fit an aftermarket stereo)

Sorry. should have pointed out my son is 3! He basically was pressing all the buttons randomly. Is it still worth checking connections?

erm probably not (unless he’s one of those3 year olds that are really into modifying cars) disconnect your battery for a few hours - with any luck it'll reset it.. else unplug it (hard reset - you will need to remove it - there is info available if you search)

apart for above (or a new stereo) i cannot suggest anything further - sorry (although a reset should work )
