Hi Guys,
I recently perchased a GP 1.4 16v Sporting, and i opted to have the NFS (Need For Spped) metal pedals installed into the car, to give the interior a sporty look! However, i kept on getting fobbed off by Fiat!! They claim that they do not supply right hand-sided pedals and they only provide the metal pedals for the left hand-sided version of the GP! Has anybody heard anything as stupid as that!and if so has anybody had the same problem?or has anybody got right hand-side metal pedals?

From my numerous complaints to Fiat about this situation, they said that they would give me 'kick plates' for the car to try and make up for not getting the pedals! But they have been on order for 4weeks and still have not arrived! Is it really worth the hassel?or do ppl have kick plates and do they look good?

Soz for the massive thread guys, hope you can help out!

i have seen the RHD pedals on ebay before so they must be around, although i think that kick plates are also pretty nice, will be gettin a set soon, anyone got any pics would be great?

I think it was pretty wideley accepted on the forum that the Need For Speed Kit (Mainly the pedals) were only left hand - not right hand.

A bit of a myth...

Yeah, i just think that it really strange that no RHD pedals are available? I'm new to the forum, so i missed the previous threads concerning the pedals! I will keep an eye on ebay to see if any pop up!
When i get my kick plates mate, i will take a pic and post it on the forum to see what you think of them!

Thanks for you're help guys! Btw, what do we all think of the body styling of the new GP Abarth? I think the front is really smart!and the alloys are cool! Has there been a release date yet??

Hi Stupid, nice picture. Not sure, the black edge would be on the wrong side.. :yuck:

(Aboot all I can gather:idea: )

Now I want those kick plates!!

If you look in your car though there's a plastic one, do you have to remove this?

that is part of the interior trim mate.

i know they do look pretty good don't they!

I think your being fobbed off mate, i walked into my local dealer on the 13th to order my kick plates just before i went on holiday and they were in ready on the 15th. Stock was there to order and they just got them straight in with my carpet mats.

I am sure the kickplates are available at Fiat, i know for a fact that i have at least one set on my shelf at work!

and we have an offer running on accessories at the moment! :)

The pedals were recalled by Fiat, i had a set but to send them back as you guys say above fiat claim they are LHD only!

I dont suppose you know if i can access the new Brio catalogue online do you because my dealer doesnt have them and i had to wait ages the last time i ordered one off the site.

I have the Kick Plates. :yum: Took about 2 mins to fit once the paintwork was clean. My local Fiat garage (Guildford) offered me the pedals, for the cost price of £53 (instead of the £75 list). I asked if they would fit them, as the existing pedal plates have to be drilled, and they said yes, but for 1 hours labour, which is £85 - 100!!!!!

Needless to say, I didn't take them up on the offer.....
